Christmas comfort

Krista Palomba, left, of Watertown, and Sue Semeraro of Waterbury stack some of the 95 donated gift bags to be given to patients at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center in Waterbury on Tuesday. The bags include a blanket, lotions, soaps and other items to make cancer patients more comfortable. The drive was organized by Palomba, who was inspired by her friend Sue, who is battling cancer, and by her aunt, Dolores Falcone, who died of cancer in April 2015.
